A Training Program entitled

(Fundamentals of Food Safety Systems) at Damanhour University

According to the directives of His Excellency Mr. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi - President of the Republic -

to take care of the health of citizens and to meet their needs of healthy food,

and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,

 Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh -Rector of Damanhour University and a professional international trainer – lectured at the training program

"Fundamentals of food safety systems".

The trainees were microbiologists, chemists, agricultural engineers, health technicians, and food monitors. 

The contents of the training program were:

- Pre Request Programs (PRPs) for food safety.

- Application of Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP).

 - Application of ISO 22000.

- Withdrawal of samples and conditions of transferring them from the areas of handling.

- The legal and financial rights and duties of the employees of the National Food Safety Authority.
