Damanhour University Rector suspend the first scout festival

in mourning for the martyrs of the nation.

 Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh (Damanhour University Rector) announced the suspending of the activities of the first scout festival

for males and females scouts of Damanhour University in mourning for the martyrs of duty, whose lives were lost due to

clashes between the security forces and terrorist members in 135 km oases road.

The activities of the festival were scheduled to be held in the theoretical complex in Al-Abbadiya, from 21 to 25 October.

In the presence of Damanhour University Rector, Vice-Presidents of the University, deans, teaching staff members,

employees and students of the university. Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh announced the suspending of all ceremonial activities

at the university level.

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh, Damanhour University Rector, stated that Egypt, with its wise leadership,

great army and the unity of its people, will triumph over the forces of darkness and terror,

stressing that such attempts plotted by the bats of darkness and terrorism  in order to  undermine our unity will not deter us

from moving forward towards development and progress, but it will rather increase our determination

to do more for the sake of our beloved Egypt.
