Ebeed Saleh: Directing Theses and Scientific Research to Enhance the Values

of Belonging and Community Service

According to the directives of His Excellency President / Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi - President of the Republic -

regarding taking the necessary preventive measures,

a university council headed by Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - Rector of Damanhour University

was held on 11-5-2020 through video conference technology.

Ebeed assured the university’s interest in developing scientific research and researchers and that research must be applicable,

objective, accurate, pioneering, and beneficial for society to solve its problems.

Scientific research must also enhance the values of belonging and citizenship and serve the community in all disciplines.

The human and applied results of scientific research are responsible for moving society towards the best to solve

its problems as well as providing a vision of the future and the direction in which the fields of knowledge go,

in addition to helping members of society both understand and see the universe more clearly.
