Ebeed Saleh: The University Book is not the Only Reference for the Student

As a distinguished implementation of the decisions of His Excellency

President / Abdel Fattah El-Sisi – President of the Republic -

to take precautionary measures to confront the Coronavirus,

and under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research -

to complete the distance study and hold all the councils of the university through the video conferencing system,

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - Rector of Damanhour University - held the University Council on 29/4/2020.

Ebeed emphasized that education is not only through the university book, as it is not the primary reference for the student to get information.

Thus, it is necessary to open new horizons for education through using modern technological means and scientific research as well.

Ebeed also assured the university’s keenness on students' interests, health, and safety.

His Excellency also stated that a distinguished program has been designed to deliver scientific material to each student’s home.

Moreover, a CD containing the scientific material will be prepared and delivered to the home of each student

who is financially unable or does not have an internet connection at his home.
