Damanhour University Produces 30 Thousand Muzzle

and 5 Tons for Both Sterilizer and Medical Jell

at Suitable Prices

According to the directives of His Excellency President / Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi - President of the Republic - to provide goods,

enhance strategic stocks, and combat monopolistic practices, Damanhour University produces 30,000 of ultrasonic masks,

5 tons of sterilizer, and 5 tons of antiseptic jell per day, to be sold at reduced prices at the outlets of the university

to eliminate the greed of merchants and the high prices of masks and sterilizers.

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh – Rector of the University - emphasized the university’s keenness to support preventive measures

to counter the emerging Coronavirus; therefore, the university has manufactured these masks,

sterilizers, and the medical jell to meet the needs of citizens and achieve self-sufficiency in medical supplies.

Saleh focused on the importance of scientific research as it is one of the most important basic functions of universities.

Without scientific research, the university may become just an educational school that offers science and knowledge produced by others,

not a center for scientific innovation employed to solve the various problems of society.
