Rector of Damanhour University for "Sabahna Masry" Program:

We Will Direct Students to do Research Serving the Community

 The Egyptian satellite channel hosted Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - Rector of Damanhour University - on the TV program "Sabahna Masry"

to discuss the importance of the distance education system, as well as the social role of Damanhour University in combating the new Coronavirus.

Saleh explained that the university will direct students to do research that serves the community

because the university's responsibility is to contribute to the development of society by linking research

to the problems and needs of society.

Saleh also mentioned the university's role in fighting Coronavirus in the street by sterilizing all the governorate institutions.

Moreover, the university students implemented a campaign in the name of (knocking on doors)

in the countryside with sprays and sterilizers that Damanhour University manufactured in the internationally

accredited laboratory at the Faculty of pharmacy.

The students designed some ground drawings to raise awareness of the danger of gatherings.

 They also assisted retirees to easily obtain pensions without crowding and designed educational videos

that are suitable for all ages.
