The Supreme Council of Universities Approved

"Food Health and Safety Excellence Program" at Damanhour University

The recent session of The Supreme Council of Universities was held on 18/4/2020

under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

and the secretariat of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Latif – Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities.

The Supreme Council approved (Food Health and Safety Excellence program)

to be implemented at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Damanhour University by the credit hours system.

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh – Rector of Damanhour University emphasized that the program aims to provide safe food that includes meat,

dairy and their products. Healthy food can preserve the health of citizens and protect them from diseases transmitted through food circulation,

and it can also meet the community's needs from safe food, in addition to increasing export opportunities,

which increases the national income of the state.
