Different Types of Food that Enhance the Immune System to Prevent Corona Virus

 

 

Prof. Ebeed Saleh - Rector of Damanhour University expressed his appreciation of His Excellency

President / Abdel Fattah El-Sisi - President of the Republic -

for the recent set of distinguished decisions his Excellency took to prevent the spread of Corona Virus.

As a professor of Food Control, Technology and Food Safety, Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh presented the ideal solution

to confront Corona virus in the form of a simple formula (Body Immunity Versus Virulence).

If the body’s immunity is high, it can fight the virus, and vice versa.

Ebeed explained that there is a group of different foods that increase the body's immunity and enable it to face the virus

and eliminate it quickly if it enters the body, such as:

  • Legumes that include green or dried beans, lentils, peas and soybeans, because they contain antioxidants that increase the body's immunity.
  • Some vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, radish, watercress, spinach, lettuce, dill, parsley and beets because they contain vitamin A, which is very 

important in protecting the respiratory system.

  •  All kinds of pepper due to containing a very high percentage of vitamin C, which is important for raising immunity.
  •  Carrots that contain carotene.
  • Some fruits such as strawberries, cranberries, grapes, citrus fruits, oranges, tangerines, lemons, kiwis and guava.
  • Green tea, flax seeds, olive oil, white honey, milk, eggs, fish and meat.
