Urging Students to Become Aware and Responsible

during the University Student Council at Damanhour University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

- and Major General / Hisham Amna - Governor of El Beheira,

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - Rector of Damanhour University held a meeting with the university's students union

to urge them to social responsibility in the university and society as well.

Ebeed emphasized that the university is taking various initiatives to increase students’ social responsibility to avoid societal risks.

Activities change the student's behavior for the better,

and make each student become appreciative of the value of his colleagues both inside and outside the university.

Saleh stressed the need to provide intellectual and cultural programs that lead to developing awareness of the student

and working to discover his skills.

By the end of the meeting, some students presented proposals including the publication of the Egypt sustainable development plan 2030

and the establishment of the Egyptian identity of the student,

so that the values of patriotism and culture can be spread among fellow students and then to the community as a whole.
