Rector of Damanhour University:

"The Cultural Identity is a Fundamental Pillar in Building the Egyptian Personality"

Prof. Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem - Minister of Culture, Major General Hisham Amna - Governor of El Beheira -

and Prof.Dr. Ebeed Saleh - Rector of Damanhour University - participated at the inauguration of Damanhour Culture Palace.

Ebeed assured that building the Egyptian personality is one of the priorities of His Excellency

Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.

Therefore, the State always cares about youth to consolidate the cultural identity,

moral values ​​and the concept of citizenship by supporting cultural palaces and developing talents among all groups,

especially youth. Cultural palaces aim at participating in raising the cultural level and directing the national awareness of people

in the fields of cinema, theater, music, folk and plastic arts, in addition to children's activity and library services.

As for Major General Hisham Amna, he emphasized that by science and culture, nations live and people would advance.

 The Minister of Culture stressed in her speech that the standard of progress of nations is measured by the extent of their cultural progress,

and that El Beheira has many cultural and creative institutions.
