Damanhour University Rector Emphasizes the Importance of Submitting

New Developmental Proposals to Serve the Community

Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh, Damanhour University Rector, the Council of the University

was held on Tuesday, 29^th October, 2019 at the Meeting Hall of the University.

Ebeed called the attendees to stand a minute of mourning for the soul of

the martyr / Hazem Gharib,who was martyred since two days.

Ebeed called for the need to submit and present new proposals and innovative ideas in order to be discussed

in the Council to make the most use of them not only at the level of the university or the governorate,

but also at the level of the whole society to advance our beloved Egypt.

He emphasized that education and scientific research - that serve the process of development

and community service - are some of the fundamentals and duties of the university professor.

Ebeed also stressed the need to provide appropriate tools for attracting international students to study at the University.

He assured the importance of direct and continuous meetings among heads of departments, deans, staff members and students.

The focus of such meetings should be on raising the educational and research levels to serve the community.
