Ebeed and Amna witness Glorious October Victory Celebrations

Under the leadership of His Excellency Mr. President / Abdel Fattah El Sisi- President of the Arab Republic of Egypt -

and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,

Major General Hisham Amna, Governor of Beheira and Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh, Damanhour University Rector,

  the University of Damanhour organized a grand celebration for

the 46^th anniversary of the glorious October victory at Damanhour Cultural Center

In the presence of Major General Hamdi Bakheet, a strategic and military expert and a member of the House of Representatives,

some of the governorate's executive leaders, representatives of Al-Azhar, Awqaf, the Church, journalists, media professionals,

Vice-Presidents , faculty deans, staff members , employees and students of the university.

The ceremony began with the speech of prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh who called the attendees to stand a minute of mourning

for the soul of the martyr / Hazem Gharib and the souls of all Egyptian martyrs.

He praised the role of the wise political leadership and the valiant role of the Egyptian armed forces

in the anniversary of the victory of the glorious October war, stressing that the university is keen to instill the values

of loyalty and belonging and the Egyptian identity of its students because they are our future leaders.

In his speech, Major General/ Hisham Amna praised Damanhour University, its president and its students,

and assured that as the university is progressing, it will be in the ranks of the international universities.
