Damanhour University Wins the Fifth Place

in the Egyptian Universities Best Research Competition

In order to activate the presidential initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic,

declaring 2019 as the year of education, Damanhour University participated

under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - the University Rector in the conference entitled "Egypt can do with the help of its students."

 The conference aims to put forward a student vision to develop higher education and student activities

as well as integrating students with special needs within the educational process.

The conference was held from 13 to 15 October in Assiut University with the participation of about 400 students

and representatives of 20 Egyptian Universities.

 Damanhour University, in the presence of students from the Faculty of Science and Pharmacy,

participated in the conference with three researches about developing the educational process and student activities.

The University won the fifth place for the best presentation of the participating researches.

Ebeed praised this conference and its role in:

- Allowing students who are interested in the issues of their country and society to participate in developing the educational process.

- Identifying the vision of youth in Egyptian universities on the mechanisms of developing university education

and student activities and services.

- Getting benefit from those ideas and visions in order to present them to decision makers in the field of education

and linking them to the problems of university education in Egypt and ways to develop it.

- Integrating their special needs colleagues into the educational process and student activities.
