(My Country is My Responsibility) Seminar at Damanhour University

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. / Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,
and Major General / Hisham Amna - Governor of El Beheira and Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - Damanhour University Rector
in cooperation with the National Council for Women in El Beheira, a seminar entitled "My Country is My Responsibility "
was held in the presence of Eng. Zakia Rashad - Rapporteur of the National Council for Women in El Beheira and her accompanying delegation.
This seminar, which was coincided with the celebration of the 46th anniversary of the glorious October victory,
was organized by the Faculty of Nursing under the supervision of Prof. Dr. / Inas Ibrahim - Dean of the Faculty -
inthe presence of a large selection of staff members and students of the Faculty of Nursing in Damanhour.
The mission of this seminar was to raise the awareness of youth,
women and men on how to contribute to all efforts undertaken by the state, including the government and the private sector.
In her speech, Eng. Zakia Rashad thanked Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh and Dr. Inas for their fruitful cooperation and hosting.
She added that the National Council was established in 2000 and is affiliated with the President of the Republic
and is concerned with women's affairs, emphasizing the role of women in the Egyptian Constitution and preserving their rights.
Rumor awareness campaigns were conducted within 3 days and 150,000 people were reached through the council.
In addition, the council seeks to present the role of the Egyptian woman in protecting her family
and her homeland and confronting the malicious rumors that aim at spreading strife and destabilizing the country's security and stability.
Besides the gains that the Egyptian family has gained from achieving security, safety, health care,
comprehensive health insurance, supply system and pensions of solidarity and dignity.
Moreover, Eng. Zakia Rashad has listed the honorable attitudes ofEgyptian women since the 25th of January revolution
until now. Youth are the hope of all of us and they must be conscious and aware of all that is going on.
Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh thanked and appreciated Eng. Zakia Rashad and the accompanying delegation
as well as the organizers of the event including the dean of the college, vice-Deans and students.
He also greeted His Excellency Mr. Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Republic,
who designated 2016 as the Year of Youth, 2018 for Women and 2019 for Education because of their important roles
in the advancement of the country.
He asserted that spreading the tendentious rumors is one of the most important methods of the wars of the fourth generation
that aims to destabilize and lose confidence among people, political leadership and the government
so as to lose the prestige of the state.Rumors have existed since ancient times and were the destructive weapon in wars and revolutions.
Thus, we must quickly respond to these tendentious rumors, address them and refute them in order to prevent their spread.
The recent rumors have come against the backdrop of military progress, economic development in the country
and giant investment projects. We have valiant armed forces, skilled police, a high court and great people.
Ebeed directed the students to address all the challenges facing them in their life,
society and all areas of life in cooperation with organizations and institutions of the state and civil society.
