Damanhour University Denies Violence and Fights Terrorism                   

Under the patronage of prof. Dr.Khalid Abd El Ghafar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research;

and Major General Hisham Amna, El Beheira Governor : Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh, Damanhour University Rector,

inguarated an educational symposium on the role of media in renouncing violence and countering terrorism ;

at the Faculty of Pharmacy.  The editor of El Watan newspaper was lecturing in the seminar ;

a number of distinguished individuals attended the seminar.

Saleh stated that terrorism has become a great challenge that requires the Egyptians mobilize all their potentials and strengths.

As the World Youth Forum proved that Egyptian people can communicate with all people around the world ; Egypt is the land of peace.

Saleh stressed that media has a vital role in our fighting against terrorism and eliminating its origins. Moreover,

the editor of El Watan newspaper stressed on the importance of media and its power in influencing the masses and spreading awareness .
