Damanhour University Rector Inguarates “ the Addiction Elimination Week” .

Under the patronage of prof.Dr. Khalid Abd El Ghafar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research ;

and Major General Hesham Amna, Governor of El Beheira 

 Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh , Damanhour University Rector inguarated the week of the elimination of addiction

which started its first symposium entitled “ electronic addiction ‘’ at the Faculty of Education ;

in the presence of the dean of the Faculty in addition to distinguished individuals of the university.

Saleh confirmed that addiction to internet is totally a new type of addiction in which the addicted person to the internet

uses it daily and excessively ;which is consequently affecting one’s life .

This kind of addiction causes social , mental and neurological problems that affect his/her life negatively.

He pointed out that importance of reducing the risks of technology to young people and protect them

from any negative effects on their mind and health.
