Damanhour University Rector inaugurates the conference

 "Damanhour University and Future Prospects" 

 Prof. Dr.Ebeed Saleh (Damanhour University Rector) asserted the fact that culture,

education and media are the axes of spreading awareness  to build a successful society,

 especially in the  light of the urgent need to spread the culture of enlightenment and active participation

through active cultural book exhibitions and cultural events that increase the awareness of nationals.

He asserted also  that the student is an essential partner in the process of building his university,

and that excellence is the secret of success.  

This came with the sidelines of the seminar held at the conclusion of the third Damanhour Book Fair

where he reviewed the most important achievements of the university whether in the sectors of education,

students affairs, graduate studies, scientific research and also in the fields of community service and developments,

where he presented the most important elements of success, opportunities and challenges

and the vision and mission of the university to be read internationally.  

The University Rector also addressed the University's efforts by launching an ambitious future plan to activate

 a number of new quality faculties that serve the community and support the national economy such as the faculties of Fisheries,

Spinning & Weaving, Computing and Information, Faculty of  Medicine, Faculty of Archeology and Tourism.
