Damanhour University Rector inaugurates the conference 

"Future of mining in Egypt" 

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh, Damanhour University Rector inaugurates a symposium at the faculty of Science.   

   At the outset, he welcomed, in the name of the university, faculty members , all admins, assistant staff,

employees and students, the guests who were represented by each of;

Mr. Sami Al Rajhi/ founder of Sentinamin International Gold Company which is  the owner of the Pharaonic Company, 

 and the owner of the right to operate Alsokary mine, Brigadier / Ismat Al Rajhi, 

Engineer / director of the Alsokary mine , Yousef Al Rajhi,  ,Managing Director of Sentinamin International

 and Dr. Ali Barakat/ Chairman of the Pharaonic Company. 

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh also gave a special welcome to the well-known Egyptian geologist / Sami El-Rajhi, 

one of the sons of the ancient city of Rashid and a graduate of the Faculty of Science, department of Geology, 

Alexandria University in 1962 who travelled to Australia to work and gain  experience in the field of mining

and then returned back to  homeland to inform his country of the experience gained in this area .

This is in order to benefit Egypt and show his belonging to his country.   

He also thanked Dr. Mohamed El Maghraby, Dean of the Faculty of Science for hosting such an important event and  also

 referred to the importance of the role of the Faculty of Science in all areas that he called it " Mother Of Science",

  that overlaps in all practical faculties such as pharmacy and veterinary medicine. 

Then he talked about Alsokary mine, which is considered one of the most important treasures of modern Egypt,

which the countries of the West  compete to seize .   

     The  West's schemes target our beloved country Egypt to hit  in both

soft powers  ( i.e. Education - culture - art - identity - values ​​- ethics - principles – diplomacy)

 and  solid powers (i.e. the military, the police, and the economic forces),

where The West seeks to destroy our economy  in order to hinder the production wheel to keep us  in bad need to their help.
