"Be Positive" Initiative

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Sawan (Vice President for Education and Student Affairs)

and Prof. Ghada Ghatwari (Dean of the Faculty of Education) and many faculty members and students

in Rami Hassanein Hall at the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr Ebeed Saleh, President of Damanhur University

Launches "Be Positive" Initiative. The intiative  aims to raise awareness of the importance of positive political participation

for young people.

Prof. Dr Ebeed Saleh said that the concept of positive political participation as a voluntary work by the citizen aims

at instilling a culture of active participation by positively influencing the choice of public policies of the Egyptian state,

managing public affairs or selecting political leaders at any governmental or Local or national level.

He also, pointed out that public participation is divided into three main types of participation (socio-economic political)

and related support of the systems of soft power (Soft Power) and solid power (Solid Power).

Prof. Ebeed stressed the need to highlight the national projects work and the attempts of the colonial powers to destroy them.

Dr Ebeed also referred to the need to align themselves to build the country. He also pointed out that Egypt,

in its strategic position as the heart of the world, was a target of all conspiracies throughout history.
