Prof. Dr Ebeed Saleh Reviews the Achievements of Damanhour University

Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh, President of Damanhour University,

the Board Monthly meeting started its activities, welcoming the attendance of deans of the colleges,

the Secretary General of the University and the Legal Advisor to the Rector of the University.

Wishing the best for all and the world.

The President of the University noted that the university won first place at the level of Egyptian universities in the 

scientific publicationof the top international magazine, “Nature magazine”, in addition to obtaining the first place at

 Egyptian universities competition in the seven activities of Jawwal and first place in the chorus. 

Dr. Ebeed Saleh also expressed his sincere congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi

on the unanimous election of Egypt as Chairman of the African Union for 2019 in recognition

of its effective role in the African continent.  

He pointed out the need for fruitful cooperation and connectivity with the Nile Basin countries and the need to communicate

with them to solve the problems they face radically by offering them master's and doctoral dissertations at the university

to overcome those obstacles facing brothers in Africa.

Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh thanked the Dean of the College of Education and the Staff members for the real achievement

gained in the literacy project for adults winning the first place at the level of Egyptian universities.

The University President thanked Prof. Dr. Nemat Al Sayed, Director of the Quality Assurance Center at the University,

for her outstanding efforts to support quality assurance centers at Damanhur University colleges.

In the presence of the council, Prof. Dr. Said Othman, the former governor of Sharqia,

thanked Dr. Ebeed Saleh, President of Damanhour University, the deans of the faculties and Staff for the effort exerted

to raise Damanhour University,  to occupy a prominent position scientifically and culturally at the level of Egyptian Universities.

Professor Abdul Hamid Al Sayed, Dean of the College of Agriculture, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation

for the material and moral support provided by Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh in supporting two of the most important agricultural projects

in the Faculty of Agriculture and the production of varieties of maize resistant to insect damage funded by the university 

 (200.000 EGP),In cooperation with the Ministry of International Cooperation.

The board Council also addressed the establishment of the Technological center in cooperation with the 

Ministry of Communications,by allocating an area of 2000 meters in the in Al-Abbadiya campus.

And to indexing the data of the university staff to be handed over to the Supreme  Council of Universities

 to study the conditions of university staff.

The President of the University of Damanhour referred to the need to develop a new mechanism to

deal with new international foriegn students and attract them to study  in the university

 and facilitate all obstacles facing them to join the university.
