Damanhour University Council was held and headed by Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh (Rector of Damanhour University) 

in the attendance of Mrs. Engineer Nadia Abdu (Governor of Al- Beheira),

  Prof. Dr. Said Abdel-Aziz Atman (Former Governor of Eastern Province), the deans of the faculties,

the Secretary General of the University and the Legal Advisor to the Rector.  

Damanhour University Council started its activities under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh (Rector of the University)

 to hold a minute of mourning for the lives of the martyrs of the homeland in the incident of the Church of Marmina in Helwan . 

He expressed his deep ssorrow and sincere condolences to the great Egyptian people and the families

of the victims of the brutal terrorist incident in Helwan, who were the victims of the hands of treason,

which targeted the Church of Marmina in Helwan  in their prayers. 

Stressing that these brutal actions will not affect the nation  and it will rather add to them more strength and cohesion,

and that terrorism will not continue to attack well aware people or skilled police and  brave armed forces .  

The Council also extended its congratulations to the Coptic brothers on Christmas and the Egyptian people

on the occasion of the New Year wishing our beloved Egypt progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
