Damanhour University Council emphasizes the Importance of Providing
Technical and Advisory Support to High School Students, their Parents,
and Students with Disabilities throughout the Coordination Period

Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, President of Damanhour University, chaired the regular meeting of the University Council, attended by
the university's vice presidents, faculty deans, university advisors, and the secretary-general. The meeting discussed several issues
related to the educational and research processes, as well as reviewed updates and topics presented to the council.
Trabees emphasized the necessity of providing full technical support and guidance to students, parents, and students with
disabilities throughout the coordination (university admissions) period to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. He also directed that
all faculties of the university participate in the presidential initiative (Be Ready) aimed at equipping students with the skills
required in the labor market.
Additionally, Trabees called for the development of a comprehensive plan for student activities during the summer,
encompassing sports, cultural, artistic, and scientific events, as well as training courses and workshops.
The University Council also stressed the need to intensify awareness regarding the importance of exercising constitutional rights
and participating positively in the Senate elections, emphasizing the vital role universities play in fostering responsible political
awareness among students and strengthening their connection to national issues and involvement in decision-making.
