INTRODUCTION

I am an Assistant Professor of Virology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Damanhour University. I got my Ph.D. through joint supervision between Damanhour University, Egypt, and Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kyoto, Japan.  In addition, I got  JSPS fellowship for postdoctoral at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kyoto, Japan.

EXPERIENCE

  • Assistant Professor of Virology at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Damanhour University, Egypt (March 2022 — present).

  • PhD of Virology from Damanhour University, and Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine (Joint supervision, a mission of the Egyptian goernement, February 2012 — December 2016).Thesis title: “Using advanced Techniques for molecular analysis of viruses”. The work was carried out in the Department of infectious diseases, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine (KPUM), Kyoto, Japan.
  • Master of Virology from Alexandria University (September 2007 — January 2011). Thesis title: “Detection and genetic characterization of Avian Influenza Virus in some Egyptian Governorates”.
