The President of Damanhour University chairs the Committee

for Selecting Dean of the Faculty of Education

Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, President of Damanhour University, chaired the meeting of the committee tasked with selecting the new Dean

of the Faculty of Education. This event reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to uphold standards of integrity and transparency

in the appointment of academic leadership. The committee included the following distinguished members:

- Prof. Dr. Saeed Abdel Ghany – Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Education, Damanhour University.

- Prof. Dr. Hesham Emara – Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Commerce, Damanhour University.

- Prof. Dr. Maged Abu El-Einain – Professor at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University.

- Prof. Dr. Mona Mabrouk – Professor at the Faculty of Science, Damanhour University.

The process involved a thorough review of the candidates' CVs and detailed discussions of their plans to advance the faculty.

The committee also listened to presentations by the candidates outlining their developmental visions. The final list of candidates included:

Prof. Dr. Ebtisam Al-Shokrofy – a Professor at the Department of English; Prof. Dr. Safwat Hendawy – a Professor at the Department

of Curriculum and Teaching Methods; Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Selim – a Professor at the Department of Psychology; Prof. Dr. Jehan El-Sawy –

a Professor at the Department of Geography, and Prof. Dr. Mostafa Amin – a Professor at the Department of Foundations of Education.
