The Achievements of Damanhour University for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Elhamy Tarabees - President of Damanhour University, the university achieved several accomplishments during the fiscal year

2023/2024 according to the university’s strategic objectives and the National Plan for Egypt 2030.

Tarabees declared that the university expanded this year its infrastructure and educational services.

Among the achievements of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, university students won first and second places in the Competition of the American

Institute of Management Accountants, advanced positions in the festival of Ebda’a12, the First Student Activities Festival, and the Arts Centers Festival,

in addition to three gold and a silver medals in the Egyptian Universities Paralympics.

As for international classifications, the university was included in the Times Classification of the Most Influential Universities for the 2024 Sustainable

Development Goals.

The university also achieved remarkable progress in the Shanghai International Classification and Webometrics Ranking of World Universities.

 Moreover, cooperation agreements were signed with educational and technological institutions,

such as the Egyptian-Japanese Schools Project Unit, the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries,

and the Wood Technology Company (Wotech). In community service and environmental development, the university launched several comprehensive medical,

developmental, and awareness-raising convoys to the villages of the governorate within the initiative of (A Decent Life). Additionally,

the accreditation of the university’s digital transformation laboratory was renewed to obtain the basics of digital transformation certificate approved by the

Supreme Council of Universities, and the institutional memory program project was updated.
