Including Damanhour University in the Times Classification of

the Most Influential Universities for the 2024 Sustainable Development Goals

Damanhour University, headed by Prof. Dr. Elhamy Tarabees, announced including the university in the Times Classification of the Most Influential Universities for

the 2024 Sustainable Development Goals.

The university ranked 1001-1500 at the level of 1963 international universities and 29th place at the level of 46 Egyptian

universities included in the classification.

The University President declared that this achievement reflects the university’s commitment to supporting the United Nations’ sustainable development goals,

stressing the university administration’s keenness to adopt and implement a strategy to advance and improve the university’s global ranking at the level of

various international classifications.

Prof. Dr. Aser Ghoneim, responsible for the university’s international classifications committee, emphasized that the university has been able to achieve several

advanced positions, as follows:

-The university ranked 12th in Egypt in quality education.

-The university ranked 16th in achieving justice, equality and care for students with disabilities.

- Damanhour University ranked 28th in health care and quality of life.
