The Minister of Higher Education Inspects the New Projects at Damanhour University

at an Estimated Cost of One and a Half Billion Pounds

Today, Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,

visited Damanhour University to check on the regularity of the educational process

in the presence of Prof. Dr. Elhamy Tarabees - President of the University,

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Refaat - Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities,

and Major General Hitham Zaky - Assistant Minister for National Projects, Vice Presidents of the University, Deans of Faculties,

and Executive Leadership in Al Beheira Governorate.

The Minister started his visit by inspecting the faculties of dentistry, nursing, engineering, and human medicine, central laboratories,

the university hospital. Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour emphasized that: 

-The political leadership pays great attention to public universities.

-Expanding the establishment of new faculties to cover all specializations required by the labor market.

-Establishing great projects at Damanhour University to provide multiple educational opportunities for the citizens of Al Beheira Governorate

and neighboring governorates.

Prof. Dr. Elhamy Tarabees emphasized that:

- The university is witnessing continuous development and expansion in its buildings, facilities, and educational services.

-The university is committed to implementing the strategic vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and works to qualify graduates to

compete in labor markets.
