Ebeed Saleh Discusses a Ph.D. Thesis on Food Health and Safety
Proceeding from the efforts of His Excellency President / Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and his interest in the health and safety of Egyptians
and meeting their needs for safe and healthy food, a Ph.D. thesis in the field of food health and safety got supervised today
and arbitrated by Prof. Dr. Ebeed Saleh - Professor of Health Control on Meat and Food Safety Technology,
and President of Damanhour University.
The thesis deals with the effect of one of the microbes on the residuals of heavy metals of health importance in imported
and fresh beef meat and the internal organs suitable for human consumption,
which saves us from poisoning from these metals that do not respond to usual cooking methods.
The thesis got presented by the researcher / Dr. Nasser Farid Salem - a veterinarian at Damanhour University.
Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Mohamed Al-Morshedy - Professor of Health Control of Food at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University
– and a group of referees and supervisors of the thesis participated in the committee.
Saleh stressed that Damanhour University is interested in food health and safety as a national security problem.
He added that all researchers should focus on the importance of food health and safety,
which directly affects the health and safety of citizens, the public health of the state, and the national economy.
