Students of the University are an important group of society as they represent a small sample of the main society and they represent all economic, cultural and social levels. This sample faced psychological problems which may cause problems in the future. They should be known and diagnosed, then having remedial programs to be in a good psychological adjustment and be active members on society. Personality disorders are certain types of psychological problems that students face in general and Borderline Personality Disorder as a special case
Despite the danger of such a disorder to students in the University, most of studies were done on clinical samples. So there is a bad need to be studied and investigate its relationships with certain psychological variables as Impulsivity, aggressive behavior and depression. Accordingly, this study is important as it enriches researchers in the fields of diagnosis and psychological therapy. Information needed to have therapeutical programs is available in the next stage of the present study. Results of the present study might help in giving clear perspectives about Borderline Personality Disorder which is relatively new in the Arab environment as a whole and on Egyptian society as a special case
The present study aims to identify the differences between high performance students and low performance students of borderline personality disorder in impulsivity, aggressive behavior, depression and to know the relationships among such variables, moreover, this study aims to know which variables contribute in predicting borderline personality disorder of students at Faculty of Education, Beni-Suef University.
Descriptive and predictive method was used since it is appropriate to the nature and objectives of the study, which is trying to identify the psychological variables predicting Borderline Personality Disorder Of students at the University.
