This Thesis Includes Three Chapters The First Of Which Deals With Synthesis And REACTIONS oF A Cenaphthenequinon. Chapter II IS A Discussion Of The Work That Was Carried Out By The Candidate The Goal Of The Synthesis Of The Work Is Divided Into Two Parts Dealing With The Candidate With The Synthesis Of Heterocycles from A Cenaphthenequinone And Furantriones Respectively A Model Study Was Carried Out In order To Confirm The Regioselectivity. This Study Included The Syn-Thesis Of Both Isomeric Ring Systems where The Site Of Fusion In The Biheterocycle Is Generally Represented By 1 And 2 Respectively. The Latter Type Of Fusion Was Achieved By Condensation Of Acenaphenequinon. Asimilar Series Of Compounds Was Done By The Synthesis Of The Derivatives And Applying The Above Sequence Of Reaction On Them.
