ملخص:

One hundred and eighty chicks and chickens were used to study the effect of staph aureus ans its toxins on chickens. The ages of the experimentally used chickens were (one-day-28-days and 45 days. These chickens were divided into 2 groups. Each group consisted of 90 chicks and chickens divided into 4 subgroups. The first 3 subgroups were inoculated by staph aureus, while the fourth subgroup was used as a control group. Group I were inoculated by staph aureus orally through a stomach tube into the 3 subgroups (A, B& C), while subgroup D given orally 1 ml of normal saline (control subgroups). Group II were inoculated by staph aureus parentrally into the 3 subgroup (E, F&G). While subgroup H were inoculated parentrally 1 ml of normal saline (control subgroup). Five chickens of each subgroup were sacrificed on the 2nd and 4th week P.I. The clinical signs and the pathological findings of the sacrificed and died birds were recorded.
