Within a Decent Life, Damanhour University Implements a Comprehensive

Convoy in Kafr Al-Dawar Center

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hamid El-Sayed Abdel-Hamid - Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research,

the university implemented a free comprehensive veterinary and medical convoy at the village of Al-Arqoub in Kafr Al-Dawar Center,

in cooperation with Hayah Karima in Al Behaira Governorate and with the participation of the university faculties.

The convoy included Medical examinations in various specialties, health education, measuring blood sugar and blood pressure,

some information on common animal diseases, methods of prevention and the necessary treatment,

and awareness and agricultural guidance on the importance of plants and food.

The convoy also included the following:

•        Applying tests to measure speech disorders in children.

•        Some information on early marriage and its social and psychological harm to women.

•        Some information on female genital mutilation and its health and social effects.

•        Distributing gifts to children.
