Damanhour University: The Right to Education is Guaranteed

to all Students without Discrimination

According to the directives of His Excellency President / Abdel Fattah El Sisi - President of the Republic -

to complete the development of the educational system to build the Egyptian human being,

Damanhour University Council was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid El Sayed -

Vice President of Graduate Studies and research, to discuss the grievance submitted by the student / Farha Fadloun,

who got exposed to fire during her childhood that made her lose her left-hand fingers,

and the medical examination at the Faculty of Education resulted in not accepting her.

In an immediate response and according to the principle that the right to education is guaranteed to all students,

the University Council agreed to accept her papers to the Faculty of Education.

Additionally, a request got made to amend the bylaws of the Faculty of Education with the necessary amendments.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid explained that the university provides an educational environment for students in all governorates.

He also emphasized the university's ability to accommodate all students and not differentiate between them.
