Damanhour University Continues its Comprehensive Convoys

in Abu El Matamir within the Initiative of a Decent Life

Within the framework of the presidential initiative (A Decent Life) launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi

to develop the Egyptian countryside and poor villages and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar,

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Major General Hisham Amna, Governor of El Beheira,

and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid El Sayed Abdel Hamid - Vice President of Damanhour University,

the university implemented a comprehensive convoy at the village of Al-Yasiniya in Abu El Matamir Center.

The convoy included various medical, veterinary, agricultural, awareness, and nursing specialties.

Medical examinations got conducted for 95 cows for internal diseases, 35 buffaloes for infectious diseases, and 450 sheep for venereal diseases.

Patients got medically examined, and the necessary medicines got provided.

Some awareness and educational courses about literacy and the importance of health prevention got presented to the village citizens.

For the first time, a mobile dental clinic was available.

Veterinary health awareness about the epidemic and contagious diseases got also provided,

and citizens were instructed to quickly respond to the vaccination committees against these diseases.
