Damanhour University continues Holding Awareness Seminars in Various Faculties as part of
the Activities of the Presidential Initiative (A New Beginning for Human Development)
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees - President of Damanhour University, and Prof. Dr. Mona El-Sayed - Acting Vice President
for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and within the framework of a series of awareness seminars
launched by Damanhour University as part of the activities of the presidential initiative (A New Beginning for Human Development),
Damanhour University continued to hold its awareness seminars in various faculties of the university. The Faculty of Education,
under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amal Mahran - Acting Dean of the Faculty, held an awareness seminar entitled (You are Stronger
than Drugs), in the presence of a group of faculty staff members and many students. The seminar lecturer was Dr. Wael El-Abd -
Head of the Anti-Addiction Fund affiliated with the Prime Minister's Office. Dr. Wael El-Abd shed light on the presidential initiative
(A New Beginning), its importance, goals, and role in developing the Egyptian person. The Faculty of Nursing also organized a seminar
entitled (Staying Healthy in Winter: Common Winter Diseases and Prevention Tips) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abeer Abdel Fattah -
Acting Dean of the Faculty. The seminar lecturer was Prof. Dr. Shaimaa Amin - Lecturer in the Department of Community Health Nursing.
The seminar aimed to enhance health awareness and motivate students to take suitable steps to care for their health in winter.
