Students of Damanhour University finish in Second Place in Non-Profit Projects

 

in the National Initiative for Green Smart Projects

 

 

Damanhour University, headed by Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, announced that the team of Nabd at the Faculty of Engineering won second place in non-profit

projects in the National Initiative for Green Smart Projects (Phase III 2024). The university president congratulated the winning team,

advising them to continue working and seize opportunities that maximize benefit, stressing that this achievement reflects the spirit of innovation

that the university is keen on.

The students presented the project of (Prosthetic Limb for People with Amputations), where they relied on recycling plastic bottles using a filament machine

and a 3D Printer to print the prosthetic limb. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khairat, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, explained that this achievement reflects the

commitment of Damanhour University, headed by Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees, to develop students' skills and enhance their ideas to serve their community to

achieve sustainable development goals.

The winning project in the National Initiative for Green Smart Projects was honored during the regional conference for the governorates of Alexandria,

Al Beheira and Matrouh, in the presence of Dr. Jackleen Azer, Governor of Al Beheira, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled, Governor of Alexandria, and Major
