Damanhour University Students win Second Place in the Innovation and Graduation Projects Forum 2024

Damanhour University, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Elhamy Trabees,

announced that the Nabd team at the Faculty of Engineering achieved second place in the Innovation and Graduation Projects Forum 2024.

The forum was organized by the Engineers Syndicate under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research,

the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Military Production, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The event took place at the headquarters of the American University in Tahrir Square.

The university president congratulated the winning team and advised them to continue working and seizing opportunities that maximize benefits.

He praised the importance of the project they presented, which is a prosthetic limb for people suffering from amputation.

The team utilized a filament machine and a 3D Printer to print the prosthetic limb by recycling plastic bottles.

The President of Damanhour University also pointed out that this achievement crowns the efforts of the joint team,

all of whose members cooperated under the distinguished academic supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed and Dr. Ahmed Salem from the Department of Electricity.
