Within a Decent Life, Damanhour University Implements a Comprehensive Convoy

 

in Abu Homos

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hamid El-Sayed Abdel-Hamid, Vice President of Damanhour University for Graduate Studies and Research,

the university implemented a free comprehensive veterinary and medical convoy at the village of Al-Zainiin Abu Homos Center,

in cooperation with Hayah Karima in Al Behaira Governorate, and with the participation of the university faculties.

The veterinary convoy examined many animals and provided veterinary health education about common diseases and ways to prevent them.

The agricultural convoy provided awareness and agricultural guidance on the importance of plants and the benefits of food in disease prevention.

The medical human therapeutic convoy distributed medicines for diseases of the digestive system, nerves, chest, allergy, skin, bones,

blood pressure, diabetes, painkillers, tonics, and antibiotics to treat hundreds of patients in the village.

The nursing convoy carried out a health assessment and measurement of pressure and sugar for citizens and provided some information

on various diseases such as the coronavirus, early marriage and its social and psychological harm to women, and female genital mutilation

and its health and social effects.
