Honoring the Participants in the Meeting to Enhance

the Capabilities of the Coordinators of Units to Combat Violence

against Women at Damanhour University

Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hamid El-Sayed Abdel-Hamid - Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research –

met the coordinators of the Unit for Combating Violence against Women at the university.

Dr. Abdel Hamid pointed out the importance of the role of rural women pioneers in reaching women in their homes and spreading awareness among them.

His Excellency stressed the importance of activating the role of the coordinators of the unit and intensifying awareness and educational seminars.

His Excellency confirmed that the political leadership follows up on the activities that take place in the Unit for Combating Violence against Women,

through which many activities get implemented to support and empower women and girls to provide a safe educational environment at the university.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the participants in the meeting to enhance the capabilities of the coordinators of units to combat violence against women in

Egyptian universities got honored in the presence of the unit coordinators within the university faculties and the members of the unit's board of directors.
